T30 Boothtown Aqueduct Greystanes Sydney

$1.50

Although it looks like something you would see in the UK or Europe, it is in fact one of Sydney's hidden gems! Located in the western suburb of Greystanes, the aqueduct was completed in 1888 as part of the Lower Prospect Canal. It carried water from the Prospect Reservoir to the residents of Sydney's west until 1907 when it was bypassed. It was heritage listed in the 1990s and turned into a cycleway in 2003.
