T39 War Memorial & Cathedral Bathurst

$1.50

King's Parade Bathurst is bounded by William, George, Church and Russell Street and forms the historic heart of this heritage city. Its most well known memorial is the Carillon which was built in 1933 to honour the men and women of Bathurst and the surrounding district who served in the First World War. It has 35 bells and while mostly driven these days by computer, they can still be played manually.

All Saints Anglican Cathedral has heritage-listed church bells which were built from 1853 to 1855 by John Warner and Sons, Crescent Foundry of London, England.
